Feeling Seen
A Place to Understand What Has Changed
Major life changes can affect much more than our circumstances. They can affect our identity, relationships, confidence, expectations, and sense of purpose.
Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to slow down, understand what is happening, and explore what may be possible moving forward.
Out of Sight Psychology offers an empirically informed, integrative approach to psychotherapy. Treatment is collaborative and focused on understanding each person's concerns, circumstances, strengths, and goals.

A Collaborative Approach
Therapy is not about being told what your life should look like. It is about creating a space where you can explore:
The goal is not necessarily to return to the life you had before.
Sometimes the goal is to develop a meaningful life that fits the person you are becoming.
What has happened?
How has it affected you?
What has changed?
What still matters?
What might be possible now?
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect during my first psychotherapy session?
Our first meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your history, and your goals. It is a safe space for you to share at your own pace while we determine how I can best support you.
How long are the sessions and how often will we meet?
Individual sessions typically last 50 minutes. Most clients find that meeting once a week or every two weeks provides the best continuity for progress, though we can adjust based on your specific needs.
What are your fees for psychotherapy services?
Fees are consistent with provincial psychological association guidelines. Please contact me directly for my current rate schedule. Many private insurance plans provide coverage for psychological services.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship. As a licensed psychologist, I adhere to strict legal and ethical standards to protect your privacy. Limits to confidentiality are discussed during our first session.
